About the project
Sound, light and a shared experience.

SONIC MATTER brings electronic music together with ambisonic sound and light scenography. Sound surrounds the audience as light shapes a changing space. These layers come together in a single audiovisual experience.
We are developing the project at Wesoła Immersive in Kraków as a prototype immersive AV performance. It starts with collaboration between artists, designers and spatial audio specialists, exploring new ways to experience live music.
Two pilot performances took place with an audience on 24 and 25 September 2026. The film and photographs on this page capture the atmosphere of those evenings. The next step is to develop the format further and prepare more concerts in the series.

People and collaboration
Where music, technology and art meet.
The duo SARAPATA forms the musical core of SONIC MATTER. The project concept combines their work with spatial audio research by Dr hab. Paweł Małecki of AGH University and light and visual scenography developed with fos.design and Pagode Studio. The project is organised by Immersio Arte sp. z o.o., the company behind Wesoła Immersive.
